

Florian Klenk completed his law studies in Vienna in 1996 and was appointed Doctor of Law in the year 2000. Since then he has worked as a journalist for the weekly magazine profil, the Vienna city newspaper Falter and, since spring 2006, for the German weekly newspaper Die Zeit. In much of his work he concentrates on investigative journalist in the spheres of justice and human rights.
In the course of his work Klenk studied the case of the forensic medical expert Gross and published some of his findings; this was how he first met Friedrich Zawrel.
