Synopsis
What a life she has led: born in exile in Britain as the daughter of Austrian Jews who were members of the Communist Party, she grew up in the alien world of post-war Vienna. Constantly confronted with the remnants of the Nazi era, Elizabeth Spira resolved to become a journalist when she graduated from University.
During the 1970s ORF, the Austrian Broadcasting Corporation, achieved several high points in political television thanks to the actions of this young, ambitious investigative journalist. Constantly in search of the truth, she repeatedly causes scandals. At ORF too. But success proves her right: her features on everyday life, and the later series Love Affairs and Marriage Business, make her the quota queen of Austrian TV.
